Please reach us at Info@snopacadventures.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Complete the Client Intake Form. I will then have a phone consultation with you and follow that up with an in person meet-n-greet with you and your pup. Provided your pup is in good health and has relatively good behavior, he or she will be worked in to a complimentary route/pack group of dogs with similar size, stamina and play styles.
Yes, to ensure proper safety and fair attention for all members, as well as operational efficiency, there are a few requirements to becoming a member.
We currently offer service to the following towns:
Cohasset
Hanover
Hingham
Norwell
Rockland
Scituate
The exceptions to this are the following:
1. Corporate employee incentive programs
2. Multiple members who work together can arrange for one pickup of at least 4 dogs at the same location
Each adventure consists of a 90-120 minute hike where dogs are out of the house around 3-4 hours (timing will vary depending on pick up/drop off locations). The very first adventure costs $35 per dog. Once enrolled in a membership, each adventure costs $70 for the first dog and $65 for any additional dogs.
Great question!
When you sign up for a membership, you are committing to at least one half-day adventure (for $70) per week. We will bill you for the minimum number of adventures at the beginning of each month. Any extra adventures your dog goes on will be billed the following month. This way, you don't have to pay each time, which can get cumbersome.
For example: Let's say you sign up for April 2022 and your dog goes on 2 walks per week that month. On April 1 we will invoice you for 4 adventures ($280). Since you added an extra adventure each week, your May invoice will be $280 for the May walks, plus another $280 to cover the extra walks in April.
Almost any, but we'll discuss during a consultation based on the best interest of your dog's health and the safety of the pack. We'll consult on this during our meet and greet but most dogs need at least one hour of vigorous activity daily. Ideally, many of the following groups of dogs would have at least 2 hours of exercise and mental stimulation daily: Herding, Sporting, Working, Hounds and Terriers. Dogs are built for outdoor life and these two needs are a common conflict in the canine-human relationship and we can help with that.
Absolutely! As long as the boarding facility or daycare is also located in one of the towns we service, we are more than happy to pick them up from a different location.
We will even pick them up from your work if it's located in one of our service areas!
There will never be more than 5 dogs on a hike to ensure quality attention and training.
Yes! We will handle pick up and drop off for each adventure. You don't even have to be home.
We also accommodate picking your dog up from your work if your work is in one of the listed service areas. We are happy to discuss going outside the listed service areas to pick up at least 4 dogs from the same building.
Each adventure lasts between 3-4 hours from pick-up to drop-off (time varies depending on pick up/drop off locations). This will include all travel times, training times and at least 90 minutes of exercise.
Definitely! You will receive a text and photo when your pup is safe at home. We also use dogtra mini pathfinder GPS trackers on all dogs which allows us to send screenshots of where we went and how far. Throughout each adventure we will take pics of your dog "living their wild" so you can feel like you're there with them!
We "adventure" in any weather that isn't dangerous, even rainy and snowy ones! There may be days (hopefully few and far between) where the weather makes it dangerous to travel or be out in. On those days, we will let you know if we have to cancel with as much advanced notice as possible. However, we will gladly go out in the snow and in the rain, and try to find places to swim when it's hot out.
Yes, if your dog gets muddy while out on an adventure with us, we will clean them up to the best of our ability and send them home in good shape. Please do understand, however, that we aren't groomers, so it's more likely it will be a good rinsing and drying (including tick checks!)
Yes. We have compiled a whole list of different dog-friendly hikes and woodsy walks in the area. We will visit different locations each week so your pups can experience more smells, different levels of difficulty, swimming options and more!
We hate to see you go, but we completely understand that sometimes things change. If you need to cancel your membership, please send an email to info@snopacadventures.com letting us know. We will send a follow up email confirming your cancellation for the following month. A final invoice for any outstanding fees for already taken adventures will be sent out once your membership expires at the end of the month.
As of right now, we offer adventures on Mondays and Tuesdays. We will continuously evaluate what our clients need and consider adding other days as needed.
SnoPac currently does not offer adventures on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
